Through these versatile programs impuls offers different approaches to and thus contributes to a better understanding of both classical modern and contemporary music not only for professionals, but also for broader audiences.

On Saturday, May 28th 2016 the 7th edition of the impuls MinuteConcerts. Walk through Galleries with Music will take place. Therefore impuls is starting a call amongst young instrumentalists living in/around Austria who take an interest in taking part in this special event and the workshops preceding it. To find out more about the program and concept of this format please check this year´s edition. In general we are looking for program suggestions of rather short pieces, 20th and 21st century literature plus improvisations / solos and small line-ups of already existing formations preferred / no pianos available / percussion restricted to instruments that performers bring along. The preceding workshops led by Klangforum member Dimitrios Polisoidis are free of charge for all performers and offer both a feedback and a chance for in-depth work on the pieces suggested as well as to make a final selection for the event to take place in Graz. If interested please contact office(at)impuls(dot)cc for further information.
