Besides its Academy and Composition Competition impuls is also promoting concerts and biennial festivals of contemporary music and organising other activities like workshops, music communication programs ... and special projects like the impuls . MinuteConcerts.

Through these versatile programs impuls offers different approaches to and thus contributes to a better understanding of both classical modern and contemporary music not only for professionals, but also for broader audiences.

 

 

On February 11th 2015 mica - music austria will present a discussion on Composition - Interpretation with the nominated composers of the impuls composition competition 2013 (Wojtek Blecharz, Ashley Fure, Marco Momi, Davor Branimir Vincze) and composer Raffaele Grimaldi in Vienna. The commissioned works will then be premiered on February 13th, 2015 at the opening concert of the impuls Academy and Festival in Graz.
