In cooperation with impuls and Stiftung Bibel und Kultur (Stuttgart) the Kulturzentrum bei den Minoriten in Graz puts a focus on and arranges a program around Friederike Mayröcker´s work in celebration of the 90th birthday of this renowned Austrian writer. Between March 13th and 15th, 2014 a reading of the author herself, two lectures on „Heiterkeit, Leichtigkeit“ („Serenity, Ease“) by writer Peter Waterhouse, an exhibition by Johanes Zechner („WORT UND WANGE – die Mayröcker-Übersetzung“), subtile impuls . musical interventions, amongst them Beat Furrer´s piece „auf tönernen füssen“ on words by Friederike Mayröcker, as well as the bestowing of the lifetime achievement award of „Stiftung Bibel und Kultur“ to Friederike Mayröcker by Bishop Egon Kapellari and the former German Minister for Science Annette Schavan are on the agenda.
